Dribbling
When dribbling, use the edge of your fingers and palm to touch the ball, but not the palm. When exerting force, use your fingers and wrists to control the direction and speed of the ball. Dribbling, keep your center of gravity low, your waist straight, and your body stable. When not dribbling, raise your hand and arm to protect the ball. The dribble height should be below the waist, and watch the ball with your peripheral vision to prevent the ball from hitting your feet.PassingI AM A SUBTITLE
Passing
Pass the ball with both hands in front of the chest, hold the ball between the chest and abdomen with both hands, spread the fingers of both hands naturally, and the thumbs are opposite to form an “eight” shape. Hold the two sides of the ball with the parts above the base of the fingers, with the palms empty, and bend the elbows and let the arms hang naturally. When passing the ball, push the ground with both feet, stretch the arms forward in the direction of the pass, press the thumbs down, turn the wrists, and use the thumbs, index fingers, and middle fingers to push the ball to pass. Move the center of gravity of the body forward with the ball to maintain balance.
When catching the ball with both hands, keep your eyes on the ball, stretch your arms actively to meet the ball, and spread your fingers naturally, forming a “funnel” shape. When the ball touches your fingers, bend your elbows and pull your arms back to buffer the force of the ball.ShootingI AM A SUBTITLE
Shooting
Before shooting, you should adjust your posture, with your feet apart, shoulder-width apart, toes facing forward, center of gravity between your feet, knees bent, and back straight.
Take the one-handed over-the-shoulder shot as an example:
How to hold the ball
Spread the five fingers of the shooting hand naturally, and use the outer edge of the palm and the area above the base of the fingers to hold the lower back of the ball. Leave the palm empty, tilt the wrist back, and let the center of gravity of the ball fall between the index and middle fingers. Let the elbow joint droop naturally, and place the ball in front of and above the shoulder on the same side.
Shooting action
The shooting action is complete and coherent, starting from the preparation position, exerting force on the lower limbs, stretching the waist and abdomen upward, “raising the arm, pushing the elbow, pressing the wrist, and flicking the finger”, and using the (index and middle) fingers to gently throw the ball. After shooting, the index finger should point to the basket. ( Pay attention to the parabola and shooting angle! )
Competition Rules
Number of people
Basketball games are played under unified rules. The game is played between two teams, each team consists of 12-15 people, but the number of players on each team is limited to 5.
Score
During the game, both sides try to put the ball into the opponent’s basket and try to prevent the opponent from getting the ball and shooting. A shot gets 2 points, a shot from outside the 3-point line gets 3 points, and a free throw gets 1 point. The team with more points within the specified time wins.
Time
The game is divided into 4 single quarters, each lasting 10 minutes, with a 2-minute break between each quarter and a 15-minute break between the first and second half. At the end of the game, if both teams have the same score, a 5-minute overtime will be required. If the score is the same again, the overtime can be extended continuously, with a 2-minute break after every 5 minutes until the winner is determined.
Rule
If a player commits 5 personal fouls and technical fouls during a game, he will be sent off and will not be allowed to play again. After a player is sent off, there must be at least 2 players on the field to continue the game.
Basketball Court
Five lines : sideline, end line, center line, free throw line, three-point line
Three zones : three-second limit zone, reasonable collision zone, and off-court buffer zone (the basketball court requires the playing area to be 28 meters long and 15 meters wide, and a 2-meter open space must be left outside the playing area) .
Basketball Tips
1. Necessary equipment is needed to protect important and critical parts.
Basketball games are very intense, so it is very easy to cause joint ligament strain and sprain. Therefore, before exercise, in addition to wearing suitable high-top basketball shoes, you should also wear ankle guards, knee pads, and mouth guards if conditions permit. Do not wear jewelry and ordinary frame glasses when playing basketball.
2. Arrange the amount of exercise reasonably.
Long-term high-intensity exercise will not only cause a decline in physical function and resistance, but also hinder normal rest time. Generally speaking, it is best to control the amount of exercise to about 1.5 hours each time.
Remember to do warm-up exercises before playing, and stretching and relaxation exercises after playing.
3. Master reasonable playing techniques.
Friends who play basketball should focus on basic training. When you first start learning, you can take your time and don’t be impatient.
4. Remember, don’t drink carbonated drinks after playing basketball
Because drinking carbonated drinks can easily cause calcium loss in the body, especially right after exercise.
5. After playing basketball, you should quickly wipe off the sweat and change clothes.
Walk slowly and wait until your body returns to a calm state before leaving.
